The young Electro women basketball team displayed another exciting performance on Wednesday night in the first women semi-final match of the SHEFA Basketball 40th Independence tournament.

The Young Electro side showed their speed and were the fitter side of the night as they managed to win most possession to thrash VITE 60-29 at Korman stadium.

Electro was a better side having advantage with their fitness with breaks which denied VITE chances to extend points on the scoreboard.

In the second semi-final match of the night was the men’s division between the young studded side of LDS and traditional champions Siaraga.

LDS men looked more fit then Siaraga men who have experience and played more in the inside and were consistent with their 2 points to win the game 38-33.

LDS played more outside game , had running offence but were not consistent. LDS made more three pointers but was not enough to beat the more compose Siaraga side.

The second round of semi final will be held next Wednesday.
