Vanuatu tennis is currently conducting Gender and Safeguard Workshop.

In a statement by VTF stated; “our Development Officers and School PE Teachers are attending one and a half day workshop that is coordinated by World Vision Vanuatu staff.”

The workshop is held at the Vanuatu Cultural Centre, conference room.

The workshop helps the participants to identify and promote gender and safeguard of children in the sport of Tennis.

Safeguarding in sport is the process of protecting children and adults from harm by providing a safe space in which to play sport and be active.

A key part of child safeguarding is spreading the message about keeping children safe and building a culture of always acting in the best interest of all children.
