Vanuatu Paralympic Committee host Inaugural Gala Night with guest speaker Kurt Fearnley

The Vanuatu Paralympic Committee is putting out a public invitation to their Inaugural Gala Night at Warwick Le Lagoon on Saturday the 28th September, 2019 from 7pm.

This will be an incredible event and night to remember with special guest speaker, Kurt Fearnley, sharing his inspiring journey to Paralympic Success. You can purchase a table for 10 people, with tickets sold at Vt10,000 per person.

Kurt Fearnley is a three-time Paralympic gold medalist and two-time Commonwealth Games gold medalist.

He has won over 30 marathons, including New York, Chicago and London in a career spanning more than 20 years. In 2009 Kurt crawled the Kokoda track, in Papua New Guinea, to raise awareness of men’s health. Kurt was also a member of the winning Sydney to Hobart yacht crew, Investec Loyal, in 2012. He is New South Wales Australian of the Year for 2019.

All proceeds from the Gala Night will go towards our athletes with disability. The funds raised will support our outreach development programs across Vanuatu, support the identification of new athletes from outer islands, their ongoing training and attendance at International Competitions, including at the upcoming Tokyo 2020 Paralympics
