Vanuatu rugby men's 7s team had a good gruelling training session at Suva's Albert Park yesterday as they prepare for the 2019 Oceania Sevens Championships which starts at the ANZ Stadium today.

In the team's Facebook post yesterday it states; "Mens team had a run with Solomons this afternoon.Weather looks good in Fiji.

"Lets get behind our team. Go Vanuatu. #oceaniasevens2019."

"Support your boys and lift Vanuatu to places never been before! rugby can promote Vanuatu to all over the world just by supporting the boys to perform and do well.

"Let’s go Vanuatu."

The team also acknowledges everyone who have been supporting the team since day one.

"On behalf of the Vanuatu Rugby Football Union, we would like to thank our coaching and management teams, our sponsors, family and friends that have helped in any way."

Vanuatu is grouped in Pool C alongside American Samoa, Nauru, Tonga and Australia. They will play all their three pool matches today,  their opening match against Australia at 11:06am, their second match at 1:40pm against Tonga and their final pool match today against American Samoa at 4:36pm.
