Vanuatu Beach Volleyball teams depart Port Vila

The Vanuatu Beach Volleyball team has left the country for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic qualifiers tournament in Bangkok, Thailand.

Vanuatu Volleyball Federation (VVF) media officer, Veronique David confirmed to Daily Sports that the girls departed on Friday, last weekend and are currently in quarantined in Indonesia.

Miss David mentioned that the beach volleyball ladies will be in training camp in Indonesia to continue preparations towards the Bangkok tournament.

She added that once competition begins, they will take the flight to Thailand.

“There are two teams participating in the tournament.

“We have team 1 which consist of Miller Pata and Sherysyn Toko. In team 2, we have Loti Joe and Majabelle Lawac.”

Miss David added that VVF is still awaiting the game schedules.

The Vanuatu Beach Volleyball team would like to acknowledge TitanFX and all supporters for their support towards the upcoming tournament.
