Volley4change staff are currently in Mota Lava (Banks Islands) this week delivering a 5-day Volleyball Referees Course.

The course is in preparation for Torba’s own 40th Independence Volleyball Tournament to be held this month.

Volley4change Sport Development officer and coach, Stanley Toa, is in Mota Lava delivering the 5-day Volleyball Referees Course supported by local Torba coach, Morris Mera.

The course started with 12 participants on Monday.

Volley4change staff have been working tirelessly last two months in support of the recovery effort in Luganville after Tropical Cyclone Harold swept through the Northern islands of Vanuatu in early April, leaving behind a trail of destruction.

The team immediately launched into recovery support mode in partnership with local charity Big Heart Island Vanuatu, led by long-time local resident and good friend of Vanuatu Volleyball, Mayumi Green.

The V4C program has at its core the objective of working for and with the communities of Vanuatu for the development and growth of those communities.
