SHEFA basketball League conducted a referee clinic on Monday at the Korman Stadium.

Mr. Peter Izono who is a Level 2 Oceania Accredited referee and also a former National Basketball Development Officer for over 10 years conducted the clinic which hosted a total of 18 participants.

SHEFA basketball president Mildred Izono said; “For some of them it was their first time and it has started to build their interest into becoming referees but for some it was a refresher clinic to get them back into refereeing this year.

“Some of these new referees will start to work with them during our League games and help build their confidence to become better referees.

“Thanks to Wansmol Bag for sponsoring the clinic and a thank you also to Vanuatu National Sports Commission for providing the venue for the clinic to take place.

“Thank yu tumas,” Izono concluded.
