The South Efate Shefa Football Association (SESFA) kickstarted its 2019 championship at the Erakor field on Friday last week.

Day one results from the first round of the SESFA 2019 championship saw Eraniau FC winning the first game by winning Matantopua FC 4 — 1. The second match of the day, Naka FC won Taturu FC by 4 -1 and the final match of the day saw Ifira Temanu Baku FC, who recently played in the 2020 O-league championships qualifying round, played against Taputi FC and won the game by 4 – 2.

The latest SESFA Committee meeting yesterday saw the SESFA committee has mandated its SESFA Championship program for day two round one to take place at the Erakor field on Friday 26th July.

During the meeting, the SESFA committee had also scheduled the following time for the upcoming games for this week.

Match one — Eraniua FC vs Taputi FC at 0900 hrs

Match two — Naka FC vs Pango FC at 1100 hrs

Match three — Taturu FC vs Gray Z FC at 1300 hrs

Match four — Erakor Golden Star U-19 FC vs Matantopua FC at 1500 hrs

According to SESFA program, Ifira Temanu Baku FC is on bye.

SESFA committee wish to remind all clubs to bring in their court fees which is 1400 vt each to the field before games kick off.

The SESFA President and the its executive committee acknowledge all clubs for their commitment and cooperation towards the 2019 championship. SESFA invites all Shefa supporters and soccer fans to come and support our Shefa teams in this 2019 championship.

SESFA also take the chance to wish a Happy Children’s Day to families and all children of Vanuatu.
