Vanuatu Football Federation unveiled its new 2020 National League Championship

Vanuatu Football Federation unveiled its new 2020 National League Championship this week involving all the best senior men’s teams from VFF eight Member Associations (Torba FA, Sanma FA, Luganville FA, Penama FA, Malampa FA, Shefa FA, Port Vila FA, Tafea FA).

From January 23 to February 1 2020, the MAs will be grouped to Northern and Southern Region (Group A & B) to find a winner to become the 2020 MA Champion.

In this tournament, Vanuatu football executive committee has decided to involve Galaxy FC and Malampa Revivors FC representing Port Vila and Luganville Football Association as their preparation towards the 2020 Oceania Champions League campaign in February.

Group A (Lycee de Luganville Stadium)

Luganville FA (Malampa R)

• Torba FA Provincial Team

• Penama Provincial Team

• Sanma FA Provincial Team

Group B (Korman Stadium)

• Port Vila FA (Galaxy FC)

• Tafea FA Provincial Team

• Shefa FA Provincial Team

• Malampa FA Provincial Team

VFF Competitions Manager Bong Shem is quick to announce the exciting event just after the 2019 Youth League Championship ended last week.

“We will have 18 players and 2 coaches from each member association coming to Port Vila in Korman and Luganville for this high level competition,” he said.

Bong explained VFF team will start moving to Luganville straight after New Year to prepare for the event.

“We want all eight MAs to start prepare now and must submit their team list prior to the tournament to avoid complications during the tournament especially when managing the competition in COMET football management system” he said.

The date of the draw for the National League Championship will be announce soon.
