Minister for Youth and Sports vows support to Vanuatu Rugby Union

Minister for Youth and Sports Hon. Willie Satearoto has vowed his support towards Vanuatu Rugby Union during the Get Into Rugby kits handover at MSG complex yesterday.

Shipment of the new Get Into Rugby equipment is supported by the Australian Government through the PacificAus Sports program.

Hon.Willie Satearoto said; “On behalf of the current government and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and all athletes, especially the Rugby Union, it is a great honor and opportunity to express out heart felt gratitude to her excellency, Sarah De Zoeten.

“For your presence and the generosity of the people and the Australian government, for strengthening once again the diplomatic and friendly relationship with the people and the government of the Republic of Vanuatu.

Mr Satearoto gave his assurance to support development in the country.

“As the Minister responsible, I want to assure you all that you have all my support in addressing the sports development and youth activities within the country.

“I want to acknowledge also the good working partnership, in which the DG of MSG and the MSG Acting Director General for their cooperation with the Vanuatu government and the people, for allowing us to use this venue.

“Also, to the High Commissioner, and may God always bless you for your service provided to the youths and communities of Vanuatu,” he added.

“I would like to wish the VRU all the very best in their future endeavours.”
