Dream comes true for Yatel FC after securing a major sponsor for the new season.

iCOUNT is the new major sponsor for Yatel FC after signing a three-year multimillion vatu sponsorship deal with iCOUNT Limited in a move to raise the club’s domestic and regional profile.

iCOUNT Yatel FC will again compete in the Port Vila Football Association’s (PVFA) Premier League Division for the 2020/21 and will proudly display iCOUNT’s logo on both their home and away strips.

The freshly inked sponsorship deal marks the end of many years of tireless efforts of trying to secure a corporate sponsor.

Mr. Daniel Agius, the Managing director of iCOUNT is thrilled to be associating his company with Yatel FC and he sees it as “a way to give back to the community through sports”.

iCOUNT has a long and proud history of sponsorship having most recently committing as a major sponsor to the Vanuatu Para-Olympic team. Mr Agius hopes that iCOUNTs generosity will encourage other corporate sponsors to “give back and get involved in promoting social and sporting advancements within the community.”

Mr. John Stephens Tougon, Yatel FC’s President is thankful for this important milestone that the club has reached. Mr Stephens stated; “It is the first time to be engaged in such a sponsorship which is not easy to achieve.

“On behalf of all supporters of Yatel FC and the players, we are conveying our utmost gratitude to Mr. Daniel Agius and the iCOUNT team for sponsoring Yatel FC.

“The team has faced challenges over the years and with this sponsorship deal, we hope to re-establish the team’s competitiveness in the PVFA and ensure a mutually beneficial outcome for both parties in the sponsorship deal.”

To add to the team’s strength, the team has secured the services of Jackson Tasso, Frederick Massing, Gotshen Donna and Reuben Frank to assist with its campaign this season.

iCOUNT Yatel FC will now look to execute an ambitious three-year plan that will peak at a maiden O-League birth. It is an exciting time to be a Yatel FC fan…lets enjoy the ride!
