The Australian women’s junior football team, the Westfield Junior Matildas, will play against Vanuatu’s National Under 19 Team on Monday 12 August at 3pm at Korman Stadium.
The Westfield Junior Matildas, the first Australian team to visit the Pacific since the Socceroos in 2005, will visit Vanuatu from 9 to 13 August as part of their tour of the Pacific.

During his official visit to Vanuatu, Australia’s Assistant Defence Minister and the Minister for International Development and the Pacific, MP Alex Hawke, handed over a jersey signed by Australia’s Westfield Matildas 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup team to Vanuatu’s National Women’s Under 19 Football Team.
Australia’s High Commissioner to Vanuatu, Ms Jenny Da Rin, said “we are delighted to welcome the Junior Matildas to Vanuatu and are looking forward to some great football. We hope that the visit inspires more girls in Vanuatu to take up the sport.”
The Vanuatu Football Federation invites the public to support both teams at Korman Stadium this coming Monday 12 August at 3pm for a free game.
“The Vanuatu Football Federation is very pleased to welcome Australia’s Westfield Junior Matildas to Vanuatu. This visit is a great opportunity for our national under 19 team to play at a high level,” said Vanuatu Football Federation Secretary General, Albert Manaroto.
