Dear Editor,

We have visited Vanuatu a number of times, as cruise passengers and also independently holidaying in Port Vila. We have been struck by the exceptional friendliness of the people, of the courtesy and politeness exhibited to us as visitors. We have travelled to a number of places internationally and nowhere have we felt more welcome.

We are thinking of your people in these trying times, being hit with a double disaster, the corona virus and a cyclone and look forward to better days ahead, though it may be quite some time before those “better days” are with us again. When they are, we hope to visit your beautiful piece of Paradise again and see more of your beautiful islands.

Thank you for the memories.
