Dear Editor,

Even if rather belatedly, I believe there is nothing wrong with people coming forward to criticise USP VC Ahluwalia on his leadership. Leaders must always be open to criticism in a democracy. What is wrong is the manner of his removal and deportation from Fiji taking no cognisance of his human rights and human dignity. That is not how state parties in a true democracy are meant to conduct themselves.
