Dear Editor,

In your Thursday 14th March issue number 5662 you ran an article on the Mini-Agriculture show to be held on Tebakoro Village on Emae island. Now this site, sitting at approximately 30m above sea Level is our Shefa Sub district office which is taking forever to be completed.

If, and when completed, this will be our prime evacuation centre should severe tide surges or even a tsunami affects all the coastal villages.

I personally would like to thank and congratulate VBTC for airing how much money is allocated to each constituency by each honourable member of parliament automatically leaves our constituency out in the cold and dark shadows of an alien planet somewhere.

If our sitting MP (as for the past 3 terms of government) has any bit of DIGNITY at all in him he should do like Zacchaeus the tax collector in the Bible. Book of Saint Luke chapter 19. verses 8-9.

After category 5 cyclone Pam struck in 2015, no PWD machinery has set foot on Emae Island, roads were cleared by community work.

The airport terminal is leaking during rain, and the road to the airport is a total nightmare for trucks with 2WD.

We hope and pray that he can do something on this upcoming mini-agriculture show to see if he cares for his people at all.

Thank you very much for your understanding, and space in your paper.

Very Frustrated Man Emae
