Vila Central Hospital appeals for return of morgue trays

The Acting Medical Superintendent at the Vila Central Hospital (VCH) is calling on the members of the public to return the trays used at the mortuary as they are urgently needed at the hospital.

The hospital has only four of these trays and uses them to place the body of deceased patients and transferring the body to the mortuary.

Currently there are only two trays left because two other trays were borrowed by relatives who lost a loved one, but  the trays were not returned.

A statement from the Ministry of Health stated, "The hospital is in urgent need to have those trays returned.”

If you know where any of these trays are, please assist in having them returned to the VCH.
