Consultation process to review Port Vila Market Bylaw commences

Consultations on the Port Vila Market Bylaw review has begun with the Port Vila Market Management and Silae Vanua Market Vendors Association (SVMVA) gathering members together to give their recommendations.

Throughout the one-day forum, vendors from the Port Vila market and members of the Silae Association have reviewed the bylaw effectiveness.

They identified common issues and challenges and ways to address them.

The feedbacks from the forum will be consolidated and presented to the Port Vila Municipal Council (PVMC) for consideration before review.

The forum is supported by the United Nation's (UN) Women Markets for Change Project in Vanuatu funded by the Australian Government.
