The Vanuatu Craft Association (VCA) has just signed an important partnership with the French chef Emmanuel Ryon, based in Paris.
This is an unprecedented partnership for Vanuatu.
Emmanuel, best pastry chef in the world and best worker in France in the Ice cream category, has started working on recipes with a selection of Vanuatu Craft products, to name a few: agricultural white rum, Limoncello, coffee liqueur & cocoa, soursop jam etc.
Once the recipes have been created and the borders open, Emmanuel will come accompanied by a French Television in Port Vila to the Distillery Vanuatu Craft Association to validate the recipes on site and will spend time talking to the various local producers.
Very demanding on quality, he is obsessed with tastes and textures.
Made on site or in targeted markets, these recipes will include our products and should be sold on several continents.
“Vanuatu Craft brings with it in this partnership other local companies like Gaston Chocolat, Tanna Coffee or Venui, others will join it because the goal is to make known the quality products of Vanuatu and their unequaled flavors,” said GM Hervé Michel.
