Two senior PSC staff suspended

The Public Service Commission (PSC) suspended two of its senior staff on Christmas Eve.

The two senior staff are the Secretary General (SG) of the Commission, Jean-Yves Bibi and the Manager of Corporate Service Unit, Louise Nasak.

The commission members met on the evening of December 24 and took the decision to suspend both of them following alleged serious misconduct.

An investigation team is looking into the matter during their suspension.

This is a normal process under PSC guidelines when civil servants are suspended and investigations are underway.

Jane Bani is now the Acting Secretary of PSC.
