Registered Voters on Ambae will vote on Ambae

The Principal Electoral Officer (PEO) Joe Iati, has confirmed that the registered voters on Ambae will vote on Ambae in the 2020 general election.

He was answering questions on where will the displaced people of Ambae vote, after being relocated to other islands following recent volcanic activities on the island.

Mr. Joe Iati said a mass electoral registration work is now taking place in the country and the mass registration team will move to the Penama Province, that includes Ambae, Maewo and Pentecost in August, that is next month.
