Jesse Dick NOT new PSC chairman: Ministry

The Ministry of Justice and Community Services (MOJCS) has refuted claims on Facebook alleging the Public Service Commission (PSC) has a new chairman.

Voicing the Ministry’s dissatisfaction over such baseless information, the MOJCS’ office supervisor, Chancel Nathaniel, told Daily Post that this information is false and misleading.

He stressed the post alleging Jesse Dick has been appointed as the Chairman of PSC is inaccurate.

Mr Nathaniel confirmed Mr Dick was officially appointed as the first Political Advisor to the MOJCS.

He further confirmed that Mr Martin Mahe is still chairman of the PSC and appealed to individuals updating such information via social media to verify their information.

Mr Nathaniel called for cooperation amongst media individuals, adding this will ensure that facts are correct before releasing any information essential for public knowledge.

An employment agreement on the 29th April 2020 between Justice Minister Esmon Saimon and Mr Jesse Dick Joe affirmed that Mr Joe was appointed as the first PA to the MOJCS effective on that date.
