Preparations towards the Presbyterian National Youth Convention to be held in Liro, Paama island on May 16 to 22, 2021, is ongoing with only few weeks left before the event takes place.
The convention will gather together all Presbyterian youth from all provinces during this one-week event.
Whilst preparations are ongoing on Paama, the Chairman of the Titomaso Council of Chiefs, Elder Paul Eric Ulas, who is also speaking on behalf of the Paama Tomaso Council of Chiefs is calling on all families to assist through donations and that would also go towards the preparation phase.
Elder Ulas said that the one-week event logistics and preparations are met, however with the confirmed increase of participants to 1,000, the organizing committee is seeking fund assistance and avenues to provide for the upcoming event and all participants attending.
Mr Ulas stated that a love offering will be held on the 2nd of May 2021 at the Ohlen Selime Presbyterian church where funds donated will be raised towards the Convention’s preparation.
A recent donation and support towards the event took place on March 28, 2021, however with the latest updates, Elder Ulas is appealing for everyone to go and support the Youth programs to be staged on Paama island.
The last Presbyterian Youth Convention took place in Ranon, Ambrym.
