Brunet Enterprise wins tender for Malekula School

Minister of Infrastructure and Public Utilities, Jay Ngwele signed a contract with the owner of Pierre Brunet Entreprise Generale, Christine Brunet for Lonvat Junior High School Improvements on Malekula for VT395 million on 17 July 2020.

The ceremony was witnessed by Jona Mesao (First Political Advisor), Stephanie Cyste PBEG Accountant and Lawrie Carlson (Project Manager VIRIP).

The contract was competitively tendered under the World Bank procurement rules for the Vanuatu Infrastructure Reconstruction and Improvement Project (VIRIP). Pierre Brunet Entreprise Generale has been successful with VIRIP having won a number of contracts.

Minister Ngwele said it is always a pleasure working with local companies which have resources to facilitate the works.

He said this is a priority for the government to ensure that contract works must always be up to standards.
