Vanuatu Project Management Unit (VPMU) has a new Program Director. She is Ms Anna M Salwai Tavoa.

Ms Tavoa succeeds Mr Benjamin Shing who left in August this year. VPMU announced the appointment yesterday, stating that Ms Tavoa has been the fulcrum of VPMU since its birth in 2012 and her area of expertise have been mostly in the areas of finance and accounting.

“Her abilities to manage multi-donor funds — starting out from the days of Millennium Challenge Account, which funded the Efate Ring Road are the reasons why VPMU has been quite successful with project management and implementation,” VPMU stated.
