A total of 2,250 citizens and residents have been repatriated under the second repatriation phase so far.
Of this figure, 2,021 went through quarantine and were released while 201 are still in quarantine.
The majority of the repatriates arrived by air and 32 by ship.
Repatriation flights are now put on hold due to the temporary lockdown placed on Efate after the country recorded its first COVID-19 case.
The lockdown aims to restrict the movement of people in and out from Efate and to allow the health officials to trace close contacts and contain the virus.
Repatriation flights will commence once the travel restrictions are lifted.
