In his official address to the nation, Prime Minister (PM) Bob Loughman has thanked the Members of Parliament (MPs) in the coalition government he leads for their trust and confidence in electing him as the head of the government.

PM Loughman is the President of Vanua’aku Party. He delivered his statement on Wednesday following the government’s formation on Monday this week.

The former government led by Charlot Salwai was also acknowledged for leading the country in the last legislature.

All citizens are urged to unite and cooperate with the government to thrive through the current challenges of COVID-19 and cyclone Harold.

“I am joining the Head of State, Tallis Obed Moses, to ask everyone to continue to pray for wisdom, guidance and protection of our country,” he said.
