(L-R) VFF SG Albert Manaroto, Jacky Reuben, Alex Saniel and VFF Technical Director Peter Takaro after handing over the airline tickets to the two players.

Today Wednesday, 11th July, 2018 Vanuatu Football Federation (VFF) has formally provided two tickets for National Team Players Jacky Reuben ( National Team Captain and Erakor Golden Star FC) and Alex Saniel ( National Team Striker and Shepherds United FC) to be part of an exchange programme with Xinbei Football Camp in Guangzhou Cityin China. The two players leave today Wednesday 11th July 2018.

The two Vanuatu national football players will attend the daily training that provided by Xinbei Football Camp and which will be done by the national football coach in China. After the daily training, in the afternoon time, the two players will use their experiences to give class to the kids in China. So at the same time, they will improve their football abilities by the daily training and they learn the experiences how to be a football coach.

The period of this program will be one year time. But the first month of their arriving, we will bring them to travel around Yunnan Province. And there will be two months time for probation. If the two players found they are not used to this program, they keep the right to return back to Vanuatu.

They are going to attach with Honghe Prefecture National Normal School and also with the two famous clubs in China, Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao Football Club and Hangzhou Greentown Football Club which is the ranking 4th football club in China.

It is the intention to foster and engage ongoing and long term relationship between VFF and Xinbei Football Camp. After the first program ended, VFF is able to send two more players/coaches to China and full funded by Xinbei Football Camp.

The Academy commitment to the two Vanuatu national football players are to make sure they provide professional daily training and cover their life expenses by giving them allowances monthly. On the other hand, they will try our best to train the two players to see if they can transfer to another club in China. But it still depends on their personal efforts, talent and skills if they reach the requirements. They stay China is all funded under the Programme.
