The Vanuatu Cricket Association (VCA) would readily acknowledge the importance of developing a thoughtful strategic plan for its business.

“Having a strategic plan is essential for any business of any size. It’s what guides you to identifying your business goals and achieving them,” said a proud VCA President Mark Stafford in the recent VCA strategic planning meeting held at Banana Bay this week.

“The VCA has come a long way in a period of time and I am pleased to see the way we have grown and where we are at today and want to continue that growth,” Stafford continues.

Since the last strategic planning in 2012 the VCA has achieved many milestones an example of which we see the high performance program led by Shane Deitz show casing the talent and exposure of our national team in global events and the growth of women’s cricket providing opportunities to expand the game to other provinces in the country. This success has come from a long term development program which we aim to grow in the future and sustain our successful international teams. Continued support and investment is crucial for this to be a success and we are always looking to expand our brand and look for new partnerships in the market place.
