Miller Pata

Vanuatu beach volleyball women and men players are back on their feet, as they step into the beach volleyball court at Stade area in Port Vila.

After the long Christmas and the New Year celebration, the players have begun their training sessions.

The women kick-start their trainings at 8am and finish off at 10am while the men train from 10am to 3pm.

As VVF entered the New Year there are a lot of competitions that await the Vanuatu beach volleyball players.

With some tournaments on the way the players have been busy training every week from Monday to Friday.

The players have gone through some Strength and Conditioning trainings with VVF’s Strength and Condition coach Charmaine Zinner.

This competition will be held on the month of February this year from the 21st to 24th, which the game will be held in the city of Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

After winning Tahiti in the Oceania Beach Volleyball Championship, Miller Pata and Sherysyn Toko’s win in the beach volleyball championship makes Vanuatu a champion not once or twice but four times in a row.

Both Sherysyn and Miller are pushing very hard in their trainings, preparing themselves for the FIVB 2 competition in Cambodia.

The game will involve plenty of regional countries.

It will be held from the 21st to 24th of February 2019.

VVF would like to let all the children participating in the “After School Program” funded by the Asco motors know that the training will resume in the second week of February.
