Vanuatu’s senior football team is seen here on its way for an international friendly match with the Indonesian national team in Indonesia.

The match will be taking place on Saturday at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium in Jakarta.

This friendly match will start at 10.30pm Vanuatu time, which would be around 6.30pm in Indonesia.

It is understood that the team is travelling without international players Brian Kaltak and Mitch Cooper.

The two are understood to rejoin the squad later on in time for the Pacific Games in Samoa.

Vanuatu is entering this international friendly fresh from the tri-nations tournament that recently took place in Port Vila between Vanuatu, Fiji and Tahiti.

After the match with Indonesia, the national squad is expected to make final preparations to go to the Pacific Games in Samoa.

The 16th edition of the Pacific Games will be held in Apia, Samoa in July.

The International friendly match in Indonesia has been approved by world governing football body, FIFA and the Oceania Football Confederation.
