The Vice President and Minister for Women, Youth, Sports and Social Affairs, Kourabi Nenem has made a courtesy visit on Tuesday this week to the office of the Minister for Youth Development and Sports, Mr. Seule Simeon in Port Vila.

Minister Nenem was accompanied by his officers Terieta Mwemwenikeaki and Taburimai Tewaki.

In his welcoming remarks, Minister Seule expressed his warm greetings on behalf of the Government and People of Vanuatu to the Kiribati delegation led by Minister Nenem and said his office is always welcome to meet visitors and counterparts to discuss way forward on how he as minister concern can develop Sports and Youth involvement in the Country as well as expanding this network regionally and internationally.

In his response, Minister Nehem acknowledges Minister Simeon for his warm and kind gesture in making it available to meet his delegation and also praised the minister on the successful hosting of the 2017 Pacific Games.

“The Kiribati athletes are still talking about Vanuatu today, many says it will be a memory of a lifetime”, he added.

Meanwhile, Minister Seule also stated that the Government is looking forward to sending its best athletes to represent Vanuatu in the Upcoming Samoa 2019 Pacific Games in July.
