The Vanuatu Government has urged all citizens to support Team Vanuatu by getting along to see them participate in the upcoming Pacific Mini Games.

“We want to see all of your faces at the Pacific Games, we want you to be part of the Games,” said Member of Parliament for Port Vila, Ralph Regenvanu, who is also the Minister of Lands, Geology and Mines.

Minister Regenvanu was among all guests at the official ceremony held at ABM Nambatu on September 2 in Port Vila, to launch the sale of Pacific Mini Games tickets.

“On behalf of the Government, Team Vanuatu and our athletes, I am appealing to all of you, as citizens of Vanuatu, to show your support to them and buy a ticket, not only to enjoy the sport, but also all other activities that will be happening such as Fest Napuan and Lapita Festival.

“There will be day and night activities. I guarantee you, Port Vila will shine for the whole world to see,” said Mr Regenvanu.

“It is an historical event that will happen in our country, and do come forward and buy a ticket, because we want to see all of your faces at the Games!”

Games tickets are now available through Au Bon Marche, which is a Gold Sponsor of the Games and the only company that has the license to retail the tickets.

The sale of Opening Ceremony tickets is now leading the sale of other passes; while sale of Ultimate Passes is picking up

rapidly.

Van2017 is urging those who do not want to miss that unique opportunity to eye-witness the main highlight of the Games, to get a ticket now, because tickets are limited.

One of the most popular sports in the region, including Vanuatu, is football, for which the venue at Port Vila Municipal will be ticketed for the four competition matches, as well as for the Semi Finals and Final tickets, are on sale separately from pool games.

Football fans are encouraged to get their tickets in advance as seats are very limited.

Van2017 is working to ensure that tickets will be available for spectators not living in Efate. Online ticket sales are not available for these games.

“ABM is a great partner for Van2017 and people can have complete assurance that a ticket purchased through ABM will be legitimate and will always be sold at the face value,” said CEO Clint Flood.

Fans can buy tickets at all the six Au Bon Marche outlets in Port Vila — ABM Nambatu, ABM Tassiriki, ABM Freswota, ABM Downtown, ABM Central and ABM Manples.

Information on ticketing can be found on our website: www.van2017.com or visit Facebook: vanuatu2017 or Vanuatu2017Nasiviru, and the Games Ticket Hotline that will be available soon.
