The Vanuatu Cricket Association (VCA) is delighted to host New Caledonia National Women’s Cricket Team this week in the lead- up to the Pacific Games to be held in PNG.

This is not the first time that New Caledonia has send its national cricket teams to Vanuatu as this has been a long time relationship between the two countries. “The relationship has built a strong tie between the two associations and it’s a relationship we continue to value,” said VCA General Manager, Pierre Chilia.

“We are pleased to have been associated with New Caledonia Cricket since 1991 and that relationship continues till today.”

New Caledonia Team Coach Steeven Selefen says his side is thrilled to be back in Vanuatu.

“We are excited with the visit to Vanuatu and are looking forward to the six matches and catching up with our cricket family in Port Vila,” said Selefen.

Vanuatu is happy to host New Caledonia and play some matches in preparation for the 2015 Pacific Games to be hosted by PNG.

New Caledonia and Vanuatu will be joined by PNG, Fiji, Cook Islands and Samoa at the Pacific Games.
