Dear Editor,

The dark, evil background to rape, incest and paedophilia is not being addressed.

To the people of Vanuatu, I am frequently reading about rape, incest or paedophilia in the Daily Post.

My children and wife are the most important people in my life, and I am sure for the majority of people in Vanuatu this is the case.

I come to Vanuatu for the love that people show to each other, each bearing a brother or a sister of a collective group of islands which accommodate each other as friends

The women and men who look after my family, I trust them as some of my greatest friends and guardians over my family. But the question is — should I be doing this? Vanuatu absolutely has a terrible reputation for paedophilia, incest and rape and the atrocious length of sentencing is a clear sign that some Magistrates do not take this abuses as the worst crime known to man.

I am reading about 3 and 4 year sentences in the Daily Post, when it clearly states in the legislation that 10 to 15 year terms are what has been legislated.

If any of you are one of such evil characters and practise any of behaviours of rape or paedophilia or incest you should relinquish yourself if you are a Christian.

You clearly don’t understand the Ten Commandments and what being a Christian is.

Even if you aren’t a Christian, you are an evil person and clearly breaking not only the law but all moral standards of life.

Hand yourselves into the police immediately because if you think you’re going to heaven, you aren’t your soul will burn for eternity.

You are affecting innocent people that trusted you, you have broken that. And you are affecting these people for life (their lives).

I would like to hear any feedback on this issue back on social media and the Daily Post.

I clearly think that maybe bringing back the French guillotine for such people may be the best solution to eradicate such evil form such a beautiful country.

I would like to give my details but fear for my family from the arrogance in human people that think this is their right.

Please, this is a major problem which I would like to see dealt with for a better outcome.
