Dear Editor,

The recent rains have been pointing out a lot of engineering flaws on our roads and development.

Thank goodness for the recent installation of drainage on the main Port Vila roads but i am worried for how long it can hold the silt that has been through it these past weeks.

Then as seen this week we have flooding on roads.

Some of these areas are in the same condition for decades without any alteration even when nature points out the flaws.

For those who have had homes flooded, build higher or create a collection point for the water when the sun is shining (good weather) so that when bad weather comes you will not be worried about your home.
