Dear Editor,

Congratulations for the well worded letter by the Vanuatu Association of Public Service Employees (VAPSE).

Personally I often feel sad from deep within because I have travelled the world to get my education and my qualification falls into a category of its own while the salary that I am paid is peanuts compared to theirs.

Okay so I am not affiliated to any political party while serving in the public sector but so what! As a qualified professional, I have my academic papers to support my eligibility for the salary that the person in the unconstitutional post is paid.

This is the sad part since I am paid 50% less than the amount that he is paid. Whatever VAPSE plans to do next, go ahead and get cracking on whatever, to help the Government to put its money where its mouth is.

In support of VAPSE
