This year BRED Bank, The Vanuatu Chef’s Association, Dynamic Vanuatu and Kandy’s Kitchen have teamed up to give all the staff and in patients at Vila Central Hospital a little Christmas Cheer this year.

They have called it “The Gift that keeps on Giving”.

Through a project BRED Bank and the Chefs Association have been working together, BRED made a Vt60,000 donation to the association.

David Holliday from the Chefs Association decided that with Christmas approaching it would be nice to do something with for those who need a bit of cheering up with the cash donated.

On speaking with the VCH it was decided that the donation would be turned into freshly baked treats for all the staff and in-patients who will miss being home for Christmas.

When Holliday ordered the ingredients from Dynamic Vanuatu, Blake Cropp was only too happy to come on board and donate ingredients needed to do the bake and with the help of Kandy from Kandy’s kitchen, lots of yummy muffins and treats have been baked and delivered to all the staff and in-patients at the hospital. With remaining money, toys have also been purchased for the children who will be spending their Christmas in the hospital this year.

BRED Bank, Vanuatu Chef’s Association, Dynamic Food Supplies and Kandy’s Kitchen would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year.
