Road works and road closure at Rue D’Anambrou today

Partial Road closure at Europe Corner intersection (at the bottle of road leading downward) and full road closure at the Rue D’Anambrou (bottom right turnoff).

Drivers and pedestrians are advised that starting today, Tuesday, August 22, 2017 and continuing on Wednesday, 23rd August 2017, there will be road works undertaken and partial road closures will take place at the following points: (i) Europe Corner intersection on the Lini Highway (Rue de la Teouma); and

(ii) at the intersection at the bottom of the 1-way Rue D’Anambrou opposite the NZHC (Casa D’Andrea Building).

An advisory from George Tambe, Community Liaison Officer with RMS Vanuatu, the contractors for the Port Vila Urban Development Project says: “While there will be a “stop-go” contraflow of traffic through this section of the Lini Highway (formerly Rue de la Teouma).”

The 1-way Rue D’Anabrou (Lookout and Kesorns Thai restaurant road) will be totally closed-off at the intersection.
