The bodies of the three Ni-Vanuatu workers, who lost their lives in a fatal car accident in Australia, will arrive in Port Vila at around 05.30pm today, on Air Vanuatu.

The Employment Services of the Labour Department has confirmed this,saying it took some time to complete all formalities including issuance of death certificates before the bodies of the Ni-Vanuatu workers could to be repatriated home.

The deceased from Ambae and Ambrym-Malo will be flown back to their respective islands of origin, according to the Employment Services . The body of the third deceased from Mele village will be taken back to his home village on Efate.

The other two who survived the fatal car accident on Bruce Highway in Queensland Australia, may return to Vanuatu but this is yet to be determined after the medical treatment they received.
