A team from the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) in Port Vila is currently in Luganville, Santo, to probe Government institutions.

The team include Members of Parliament (MPs), Hosea Nevu, Kalo Seule, Rick Tchamako, an Wilson, Bob Loughman, Joshua Kalsakau and Don Ken.

Their arrival into Luganville to investigate government-owned institutions is believed to be the first of its kind since 1980.

The Daily Post is aware that the team will visit six organizations including the Northern District Hospital (NDH), Luganville Municipal Council (LMC), Sanma Provincial Council, Vanuatu Agriculture College (VAC), Vanuatu Commodities Marketing Board (VCMB) and the Northern Islands Stevedoring Company Limited (NISCOL).

Two of the institutions, NISCOL and VCMB are of great interest to the government and the people of Vanuatu.
