The Head of State President Womtelo Reverend Baldwin Lonsdale, signed the Solidarity Stand for United Jerusalem, Wednesday afternoon, when the Pacific Prayer Assembly Leaders, the Vanuatu National Leaders, gathered during a Special Prayer Day for Vanuatu and the Pacific Nations, in Port Vila.
President Lonsdale is amongst Pacific Leaders and other Christian Leaders around the world who have or are expected to sign the Solidarity Stand with Israel on Jerusalem which is expected to be presented to the United Nations (UN) General Assembly this year. When speaking to the Daily Post yesterday afternoon, President Baldwin Lonsdale, said historically, Jerusalem has always been the capital city of Israel and at the same time, it should remain a united Jerusalem for the Jews and everyone.
The solidarity document which is being globally circulated to be signed by national and Christian leaders in the Pacific and around the world, once received all signatures, will be presented to the United Nations General Assembly in 2017 calling for Jerusalem to remain united and as the capital city of the state of Israel.
The Solidarity Stand for United Jerusalem document that is expected to be presented to the United Nations General Assembly in 2017, is organized by the Pacific Prayer Assembly together with Christian Organizations around the world that are uniting for the United Jerusalem and as capital city of the state of Israel, according to the Pacific Prayer Leaders in Port Vila this week.
