The Namatan Festival finale last Friday took to stage a feature of short films made by all partakers this year and to announce its golden winners.

An evening to be remembered under the stars, award-winning filmmakers were fortunate to take home a prize for their original, leading-edge and productive films.

Coming first place in the Namatan Festival 2019 was Jean P Niptik with his prodigious film – Taetem Strap.

Second place was awarded to Lester Lowane with his drama – Too Late.

Third place goes to Mathew Hardwick and Nicky Kuautonga with their short film – Scam.

All filmmakers received Namatan participation certificates for taking part in the 2019 Namatan Short Film Festival.
