FIFA Vice President and President of Vanuatu Football Federation (VFF) Lambert Maltock has led a high-profile delegation to Aspetar, and praised its facilities and services.
“The purpose of the visit is to review the agreement we have between Oceania Football Federation and Aspetar, as well as for OFC to see the potential for national teams in Oceania to use the facility for their preparations,” Maltock said.
Aspetar is the first specialised orthopaedic and sports medicine hospital in Qatar which provides multi-disciplinary sports medicine services, supported by research.
It is also the world’s leading specialised orthopaedic and sports medicine hospital, staffed by some of the world’s leading sports medicine practitioners and researchers.
Maltock was accompanied by VFF Senior Vice President Iau Tuan and General Secretary Albert Manaroto.
