Vanuatu’s actor in the Academy Awards nominated film, Tanna, Mungau Dain has reportedly died.
Dain’s body was flown to Tanna yesterday.
At this stage the cause of death is unknown as attempts by Daily Post to reach relevant authorities at the Vila Central Hospital was futile yesterday.
Many ni-Vanuatu have expressed shock at the sudden passing of Mungau Dain.
Dain and Marie Wawa were the main characters in the movie that was set on the island of Tanna.
