The First Ordinary Session of Parliament for 2016, starts today.

The Head of State, President Baldwin Lonsdale, will give an official keynote address to the 52 Members of the 11th Legislature and prior to this, he will inspect the guard of honor, greet the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition, the Chief Justice and the Speaker of Parliament who will lead him into the Parliamentary Chamber for the Official Opening of the First Ordinary Session for 2016.

12 Bills are lined up to be presented and debated during the First Ordinary Session, starting today, Monday 13th June 2016.

Members of the Diplomatic Corps, Government Officials will grace the official opening of the First Ordinary Session of 2016 Parliamentary Session.
