A Hyundai bus that was getting back on the road from the Tana Russet parking space hit the Epicure shop damaging the glass wall and liquor on the shelf inside the shop.

The glass wall of the liquor shop was broken and bottle shelves were destroyed. Workers at the shop had to clean up the mess.

Police said the driver may have been intoxicated.

The driver and few passengers were driving while under the influence of alcohol, according to police.

The accident happened last Saturday morning involving a dark orange Hyundai bus with the registration number 16695.

Meanwhile, another road accident was reported to have occurred at the area of Freswota 1, near Greenlight Nakamal the night before.

So far these are the two accidents, which Daily Post is aware of, that have occurred during Easter holiday in Port Vila since Friday.
