Air Vanuatu has issued an apologized to their valued customers whose baggage arrived on Solomon Airlines yesterday.

A complainant said about 19 passengers on an Air Vanuatu flight from Fiji arrived in Port Vila without their baggage last Saturday.

Air Vanuatu Public Relations & Inflight Magazine Publisher, Tiffany Carroll, confirmed the baggage was not loaded in Fiji due to weight restrictions on the operating aircraft.

But Air Vanuatu worked with other airlines to bring the baggage to Port Vila as soon as possible.

She confirms the arrival of the baggage on Solomon Airlines and says, “Our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience”.
