Publishing Area Managers of the Seventh-day Adventist Church from Vanuatu, Samoa, Fiji, Tahiti and the Solomon Islands have participated in a Leadership Development meeting in Lae, Papua New Guinea (PNG).

During the week in PNG, each Area Manager lectured on different topics such as:Principles of Leadership; Recruiting techniques that work; Analyzing sales statistics; Tips on selling to businesses and government departments; Developing team sales skills and discerning future marketing opportunities.

They were joined by three local area managers from PNG and two Publishing executives from Australia.

According to the Associate Publishing Director – South Pacific of SDA Church, Tony Wall, the Publishing Area Managers believe the time they spent was rewarding and much was learned from sharing each other’s wisdom, experience and culture.

“They are excited to use what they have gained to more effectively recruit and train literature evangelists to distribute high quality health and gospel literature throughout the Pacific Islands,” he stated.
