• Mi Harem Se the Australian High Commissioner to Vanuatu Jenny Da Rin had a very productive luncheon with the German Ambassador to Australia and Pacific Dr. Anna Prinz, where Australia reaffirmed its support to climate change and its support of 1.5 million Euros to GIZ to assist in the climate change program for the Pacific region. Silip!

• Mi Harem Se the German Ambassador was not so lucky at one of her other Luncheons where one of the participants inquired as to where was Germany actually located and who were her neighbours, guess that explains why she was unable to get preferential treatment and have her credentials received on this trip, they simply did not know where she was from. Silip!

• Mi Harem Se Dr Wolf Kilman the GIZ boss of the Pacific rounded off his tour with his Ambassador Designate and has pledged much needed support for Vanuatu and in particular climate change related food security and shelter resilience, was reported to be very impressed with GIZ’s involvement to date and the Government’s Utilisation of their funds. We don’t hear that too often. Silip!

• Mi Harem Se there is simply too much of the blame game in the PSC and Department of Health. Please guys, it doesn’t matter who are right or wrong, please just for the benefit of public safety just fix it. If you haven’t already please prepare and sign off on the much needed labour contracts for NDH and any other facility in the country that needs to be staffed, you can always argue after when it doesn’t affect the people that ultimately are your boss. The people of Vanuatu. Silip!

• Mi Harem Se there is a serial lease hopper on the loose in Port Vila the offender had just finished her quest in Santo and ran fowl of the locals and they say even started to belief her own shenanigans now she has rolled the guys with a view leaving small cash and an even smaller note, beware of a middle aged woman blonde hair with a black cat and a semi believable story; this woman has form. Silip!

• Mi Harem Se Aspen Medical is making its move at the behest of DFAT to bolster the medical profession here in Vanuatu, there track record speaks for itself after 10 years looking after the Solomon Islands Honiara Hospital as well as different emergency and long term solutions around the world, fingers crossed they can achieve similar if not better results with the training, mentoring and assistance to our current medical professionals over the next 5 years here in Vanuatu. Silip!

• Mi Harem Se the best head job in town is opening its doors on Monday, Clipper City is easy to find and is locally owned with local boys plying their trade and at very affordable prices for the boys so get on down to Clipper City and check out the cheeks in the leather chaps. Silip!

• Mi Harem Se there has been much talk of a spill in the government initiated by the government, problem is no one is sure who is being spilt and why and how or who will replace them, interesting twist in political gossip here in Vanuatu, ah the luxury of numbers. Looks like musical chairs without the music and no chairs. Silip!

• Mi Harem Se a new Director to a certain Ministry when asked to issue an LPO for accommodation told the holder of the invoice that that was a private expense and the Minister should pay out of his own funds and not the government/peoples coffers. About time someone gave a damn about wasted public expenditure, particularly when the money was to pay the accommodation of the new MPs after the last Motion. They say it was priceless when the holder of the invoice advised the Director that this was the 2nd part of the invoice and the first part had already been paid. The look on his face apparently told a thousand words. Some even said there was smoke. Silip!
