o Mi Harem Se one senior executive took April Fool’s Day a day early when he was told at the office pub that Friday was Good Friday, only worked it out when it was too late to go to work mi harem se the party started early, only 2 weeks early. Silip!!
o Mi Harem Se the Chinese are excited that the new military base has been finally approved bringing with them much to the table and even more to the area. Due to start construction end of ‘17 Silip!!
o Mi Harem Se fuel prices are set to increase on Monday, one has to wonder based on what, over the last few weeks we have seen a steady decline in world prices and at no time have they increased over the last time they made an increase. Can’t wait until the URA gets control of the pricing which will be based on the Singapore indexed card price, perhaps then the fuel will become tolerable and we will stop being ripped off by suppliers with their own personal interests and profits before those of the people they are continuing to rort Silip!!
o Mi Harem Se finally enough was enough and the Gov’t took a stand against the World Bank and a successful tenderer was awarded to the AVL Runways refurbishments, some 49 million plus change for Vila and an additional 12 million plus for Santo and Tanna runways. Silip!!
o Mi Harem Se the Gov’t did a much needed backflip on Road Tax granting a much needed extension, now we all agree that there is a problem with the road tax and road worthy inspections, Gov’t can now take the next few months to work up a solution that will solve the issue once and for all, a works in progress some would say. Silip!!
o Mi Harem Se one expat who was being questioned why he was becoming a Vanuatu citizen replied earnestly, “to save on sun screen” perhaps he has been in the sun too long already. Silip!!
o Mi Harem Se one group is organising a rally against income tax as they feel it impinges on their rights and is of no benefit to them, follow FB for more details and get behind it as this Gov’t proposed tax is one initiative Vanuatu does not need. Silip!!
o Mi Harem Se the Tourism sector is so bad that recently some significant properties managers were discussing their occupancies, which is usually done in percentages, were referring to their guests by name and were seemingly excited to have only 4 when his peer told him he only had 1. Tourism needs a united front, not a piece meal approach which we have been currently experiencing with an industry fragmented by petty jealousies. Silip!!
o Mi Harem Se Friday morning was the quietest mornings for traffic by far for a long time, [7.48am] most buses and non-conforming vehicles were obviously parked up expecting a road block as the drive from Korman to town was uninterrupted, is this a sign of things to come, or at least after June. Silip!
o Mi Harem Se all DG positions will be advertised and will become permanent, seems the Gov’t realised that they cannot do away with these positions as per their previous plan to disband all DG positions, welcome back guys. Silip!!
o Mi Harem Se Alpha Females are on the march to hold a forum to address the issue of “Pass Behind“ seems they want legislation to make it unlawful. Me thinks that the main offenders are the ones that make the decisions and the laws so good luck with that ladies, suggest stick to reserved seats and make the changes yourselves, as they say in some circles, “Pigs may Fly”. Silip!!
o Mi Harem Se RMS are at it again, one must ask why they are closing roads on Monday when Sunday is our quietest day, simply makes no sense at all but then again not much has made much sense since they started. Silip!!
o Mi Harem Se the VNPF Board is due to be changed shortly as per the COI recommendations, trouble is no one is sure who will replace them stay tuned and we will update as and when we find out more. Silip!!
o Mi Harem Se the Bukura Cougar is now changing course and going into snails, seems a far cry from her usual antics, guess the big white truck has put her on a new trail Silip!!
